The Guidelines on Substantial Changes to Accredited Learning Programmes is intended to serve as a guide for Registered Training Providers (RTPs) on the nature of changes made and actions to be taken on learning programme(s) (LP) which have obtained FAA accreditation.
When changes are made to the LP, FAA must be duly informed of these changes so that the records of FAA on the LP can be updated. In addition, where the changes have been major, FAA may require the LP to undergo a formal review to determine if re-accreditation is necessary.
This guideline provides a guide for the RTPs on the nature of changes and the course of action to take. Generally, the changes to the LP can be categorised as minor or major.
