Recognises that the design, development and delivery of a learning programme meet the FAA Learning Criteria and are in compliance with the FAA Quality Framework as well as financial services industry requirements. Widens industry recognition of a programme and increases its competitive edge by providing a clear indicator of its high quality and conformity with industry standards.
Process
- FAA offers three (3) types of learning programme accreditation:

FAA Approval FAA Provisional Accreditation FAA Full Accreditation Type of Programme One-off learning programme (e.g. conferences, seminars or workshops) A learning programme that has yet to be delivered A recurring learning programme Processing Time Between five (5) and fifteen (15) working days upon submission of a complete and accurate application Between four (4) and eight (8) weeks upon submission of a complete and accurate application Eight (8) weeks upon submission of a complete and accurate application Validity Period Till end of the programme Non-academic: 1 year
Academic: Contingent upon the duration of the learning programmeNon-academic: 2 years

FAA Programme Accreditation is designed for learning programmes within the financial services industry from:
- Financial Institutions
- Professional Bodies
- Training Providers
- Institutes of Higher Learning
- Associations
FAA provides learning programme accreditation within the financial services industry for the following types of programmes:
